In 2019, I dove headfirst into the world of writing.
What started as a foray into short story memoirs, became both an outpouring of words and multiple performances of stories, many at So Say We All’s showcase VAMP.
It truly is an outpouring of words. I sat down the last weekend of September 2019 and wrote what became my first performed piece, “Keep your shirt on!” with no intent other than the act of writing. That my words resonate with people inspires me to continue. Thank you for reading and hearing my words.
Since then, I’ve continued churning out stories, and have plans to weave them together into an anthology.

2020 rolled around with a crazy mix of opportunity in our collective isolation. I wrote and wrote and wrote. And now, my efforts are generating publications, as well as continued performance opportunities. I’m thrilled to be represented in So Say We All’s collection The Whole Alphabet. I have also added fiction to my belt, with a speculative fiction story in the October 2021 issue of the Bards and Sages Quarterly. And I’ve started, albeit slowly, writing a full length memoir, when I’m not busy working on my novels, or slinging mud.
